Antje Klemichen, M. Sc.



Antje Klemichen studied sustainable energy systems in mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg after her apprenticeship as a ship mechanic. In her application-oriented master thesis, she developed an extended design methodology for the implementation of sustainable aspects in the product development process.

In addition, she worked at the university in the research project "AIRtech - Advanced Innovative Repair Technologies", which dealt with the research of innovative repair technologies and methods for improving components through the use of modern materials, manufacturing processes and design methods.

In December 2017 Antje Klemichen began working as an employee at the TU Berlin. In the current project "ecoMAKER" it is dedicated to the knowledge transfer of sustainability in maker spaces, taking into account different target groups.
