Carina Fresemann, Dr.-Ing.

Career:

Carina Fresemann studied mechanical engineering with a major in aerospace engineering at the RWTH Aachen University. Afterwards she worked in the aviation industry, first in the field of structure assembly, later in configuration management, change management and PDM/PLM method development as well as project management for PLM implementation projects.

Since October 2014 she has been working in the department, and since January 2017 she has been senior engineer. Her research interests lie in the further development of PLM tools and their profitable use.

  • Further development of data management for engineering and digital twins
  • AI in Engineering
  • Model Based Systems Engineering

Current projects:

As a university department, we work on various publicly funded research projects and at the same time maintain close links with industry in joint research projects.
