Juliane Balder, M. Sc.



Juliane Balder has been a research assistant at the Department of Industrial Information Technology since 2021. She completed her Master's degree in industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering at Technische Universität Berlin in 2020. She did parts of her studies at Aalto University in Finland and Universitat Politècnica de València in Spain.

She is currently working on the PERMA research project in the field of circular economy and sustainable product development and is also involved in several courses at the department. She is responsible for the module Development and Management of Digital Product development Processes (EMP).

Her research interests and foci are sustainability in product development, innovation and knowledge management, process design and control.
