Career

Lisa Hagedorn studied industrial engineering with a major in mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Berlin. She completed parts of her studies in Marseille at the UNIMECA Aix-Marseille II and at the UdK in the field of product design. During her studies she worked for four years as a student assistant at the Chair of Industrial Information Technology and supported several research and industrial projects. After her studies she worked in the requirements management department of the start-up company. In November 2016, she started to work as a research assistant at the Chair of Industrial Information Technology. She is currently responsible for both industrial projects and several modules in teaching.

She has focused her research on the study of aesthetic product features in relation to the sustainability of products. She is currently investigating the extent to which these characteristics can be individualized in VR and AR.

Research topics:

  •     Sustainability in product development
  •     Eco-design
  •     Aesthetics in product development
  •     Individualisation through VR/AR

Current projects:
