Maria Ângela de Souza Fernandes, M. Sc.

Career

Maria Ângela de Souza Fernandes is an electrical engineer with extensive experience in production processes management in energy industry. She has a master’s degree in business development and is currently a PhD candidate in Intellectual Property and Innovation at INPI's Academy. As PMP® she has spent her career so far managing multiple projects in environments driven by innovation and technology. She is also a member of the research group on technology foresight in intellectual property and their interrelations with technology development and is engaged in the research topic on industry evaluation and expectation. In the panel section at Academic Meeting in 2017, her work on “IP Assets and the Wind Power Sector in the Digital Age” was awarded as best work.
