Career:

Theresa Werner studied mechanical engineering at the Ruhr University in Bochum and subsequently completed a master's degree in industrial engineering at the Technical University Berlin. Thematically, she focused on medical technology and life science, a focus she also extended during an Erasmus+ European Engineering project and during her work in the patent department at Siemens. Since 2019, she has started an Industrial Design degree to learn about additional perspectives in product development.

Since February 2021, Theresa has been working at the Department of Industrial Information Technology as a research assistant. Current projects include ROBVRAR, the development of functional virtual testing systems, and SuSi3D, the subjective safety of cycling infrastructure.
